I can't watch too much of this... they aren't even knob turners... I've been a "DJ" since the 80s. The reason I have it in quotes, I am more of a blender. I primarily used turntables and I have nothing against those who use MP3s and a computer.. but this fake crap puts me right off. Everyone wants to be a "producer" but so many don't want to put in the work and still other people's sets. My DJ Style is keeping people on the dance floor while I stay in the background. So it is weird to me to see everyone face the DJ and not each other. And these guys (and gals) are being the biggest turd on the planet when they fake it...

We need DJs go back to old school Technqe & Vinyls with big screen showing in real time live action on their decks

i mean even the real djs dont "really dj" most of the time they have a 100%preplanned set with preplanned hotcues preplanned like mixing points and prolly trained exactly that set 5 times before and just follow the "script" and do the performance with it. i have huge respect for any djs that just randomly perform a set and the only preplanning is like "ok i prolly play some of this 20-50 songs i feel like techno and trance today" like comming up with a cool loop or trick on the go vs preplanning it to the exact beat etc is two different worlds. one is just execution and one is talent.

Everything at big festivals is prerecorded, not the fault of the dj. It's the producers and coordinators of the events. It is what it was get over it, hahaha

What's wrong with the first one? She's clearly got a phase effect on, and is using the knob next to the effects buttons to increase and decrease intensity.

A lot of these are just actual DJs tapping out beats because they're mixing live, and the rest are people who SUCK at mixing live using pre-recorded sets and pantomiming badly. But at least a few of these aren't actual fails at anything but the person making the video not knowing that DJs who mix by ear and don't rely on sync buttons and AI bullshit will tap on empty spaces of their decks *near* buttons in between presses to mentally keep time.
